The Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu has called for collective efforts in addressing Nigeria’s worsening security crises.

Rising from a four-hour-long closed-door session in the Senate Wednesday, the Police boss said leaving the task of addressing the challenge to security agencies solely can be overwhelming owing to present-day realities.

He, therefore, said looking at the root causes of the current challenges should involve all citizens and other arms of government, singling out state governors and local government chairmen in that regard.
