The Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu says the Nigerian Police has the full backing of President Muhammadu Buhari over the recent spate of attacks by some suspected hoodlums who hijacked the Peaceful EndSARS Protests and unleashed mayhem on Police and its facilities.

IGP Adamu who was on tour to Edo State to carry out on the spot assessments to ascertain the level of damages to police and public properties called on officers and men not to be demoralized while occupying public space.

Earlier the state Commissioner of Police Johnson KOKUMO assured of adopting professionalism in their approaches to Combating crime, as the Edo State Deputy Governor reiterates the state government commitment to partner the police.

Meanwhile, members of the Police Community Relations Committee Edo State presented a bronze cast of Oba Esigie to highlight the visit of the IGP to the state.
