Police arrest six suspected kidnappers in Oyo
Operatives of the Oyo state police command have arrested five suspected kidnappers terrorizing residents of Ibarapa, Oke Ogun and its and its environs. Not only this, another suspect, a female, was arrested in connection with stealing of a 3-year-old girl around the Muslim area of Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
Correspondent Kunle Ojo reports that the commissioner of police in Oyo state, Shina Olukolu while parading the suspects at the command headquarters in Eleyele Ibadan disclosed that the suspected kidnappers were arrested around Iganagan area of Ayete after they had kidnapped a 17-year-old Shakiru Weti and demanded a Ransomed of one million naira.
Olukolu added that one Oluwatoyin Lasisi was arrested around Muslim area of Ibadan, Oyo state capital after she had kidnapped a three-year-old girl stressing that her arrest was made possible through her neighbours who noticed the girl with her.

The commissioner of police Shina Olukolu stated that the suspects will be charged to court after necessary investigation.
