The inability of the Nigerian Army to allow journalists access to the troubled Delta community of Okuama in Ughelli south local government area of Delta state where four officers and thirteen soldiers were killed is as a result of the community being tagged a crime scene by the military.

These were the words of the Chief of Civil Military Affairs Nigerian Army Major General Nosakhare Ugbo, during a media chat with journalists in Asaba. According to Major General Ugbo, the military have recovered some arms while investigation is still ongoing.

Speaking further, he stressed that every other issues regarding the troubled community is under investigation and will be made public at the right time.
