Osinbajo woos investors
Acting President Yemi Osinbajo says Nigeria remains the best investors’ destination in Africa.
Addressing a group of investors from United States of America (USA) at the Presidential villa, Abujaon Monday, Prof. Osinbajo said nigeria has a lot of untapped resources to attract investments and those who could not utilize the opportunity now may regret their action in future.
Amongt the investors are Nigerians in diaspora, who are part of trade delegation from Nigeria initiative for economic development.
Although the meeting was to further drive government's quest to diversifying the economy in partnership with the private sector operators, the acting president also ceased the opportunity to asked the investors to look inward and invest in their home country.
He says Nigeria remains the best destination that will guarantee needed return of their investment into the country.
Besides speaking on plans to further open up the power sector to ensure effective service, Osinbajo said agriculture is another huge sector the investors should tap into.
Government officials were also on ground to explain government diversification plan as it affect their respective ministries while responding to clarifications from participants.
The event was another to deliver gpovernment’s plans to attract more investment into the country.
