Delta: Agaga Community Lament Bad Roads
Residents of Agaga community in Warri South local government area of Delta state have appealed to the Delta state government to come to their aid, as the only access road linking other communities have been cut off by flood.
Our correspondent Dele Fasan visited the community where he saw broken down vehicles and others wadding through the bad portion of the road.
Speaking on the state of the road, motorists and residents call on the Delta state government to live up to the expectations of the masses who voted them in office.
One of the residents said how the state of the road affected the day to day life of the community, and made the community insecure.
On what the state government is doing to fix the roads in Warri metropolis, the commissioner for works Mr. Solomon Funkekeme while briefing journalists in Asaba said the government has earmarked the sum of N2 billion through the Direct Labour Agency(DLA) to maintain roads in the state.
