Ndidi makes UCL debut as Leicester peg back Sevilla
City who lost 2-1 to Sevilla in their first leg, round 16 UEFA Champions League clash in Spain on Wednesday night.It was Ndidi’s debut in the Champions League for Leicester, while Musa was replaced by Demarai Gray on 58 minutes.
Pablo Sarabia put Sevilla in the lead in the 25th minute after heading in Sergio Escudero’s cross.Joaquin Correa doubled Sevilla’s lead on 62 minutes, hitting the ball on to the roof of the net after good hold-up play by Stevan Jovetic.Leicester got a lifeline in the 73rd minute as Jamie Vardy got to Danny Drinkwater’s low cross to make it 2-1.
