Youths meet governorship aspirants
A Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), the youths agenda under the umbrella of Kimpact Development Initiative {KDI} and “Vote Not Fight’’ organisations have organised a meeting with all governorship candidates in Osun.
The meeting according to the delegation of youths is to ensure the aggregating voice of the people are heard.
The youths in their meeting urged the candidates to focus more on education, employment, health, agriculture and poverty alleviation when elected and sworn in. They urged the candidates to form some of core policies and programmes when elected at the Saturday's governorship election in the state.
At the meeting with the all political party candidates in Osogbo, the state capital, the head of the group, Bukola Idowu, disclosed that the basic of the meeting is to measure candidates agenda views on the immediate steps.
He urged all political party and their candidate to demonstrate their willingness to support Osun youth agenda and let the will of people prevail.
One of the governorship candidate, Niyi Fadahunsi commend the exercise and also appeal to all the citizens to make sure they troops out in mass to exercise their franchise on September 22.
The meeting expect all the political party to conduct their self in a good manner to have a free and fair in Saturday governorship election.
