Ihedioha swears in 16 others as Commissioners
As part of the efforts to deliver the anticipated good governance to the people of Imo state, Governor Emeka Ihedioha has appointed seventeen Commissioners into his cabinet for the tax ahead.
Performing the swearing-in exercise at the Ahia Njokwu centre in Owerri the state capital, the governor task all the enlisted individuals to work earnestly for the development of the state.
The exercise saw the former minister of education for state Mrs Viola Onwuliri appointed as the commissioner for education, Engr. Benjamin Ekweme as Commissioner for Works, Barr. Emeka Ebiliekwe as Commissioner for information among others.
Speaking on behalf of others the honourable Commissioner for education thanked the governor for finding them worthy for the assignment.
While calling on her colleagues to put in their best in their various ministries and not disappoint the trust, she promises to revamp the state's educational sector from the current rot it finds itself.
