Delta Assembly clebrates impeachment
Members of the Delta state house of Assembly workers union have expressed their happiness over what they described as the ouster of the former speaker Hon. Monday Igbuya.
This is as a result of his refusal to approve the payment of their allowances for months, which led to series of protests and closing of the complex.
Speaking on behalf of the workers who had emptied a bottle of champagne , the chairman of the union comrade Luke Chinyelugo expresses joy.
Meanwhile, the impeached speaker has now been placed on a three months suspension as his loyal lawmakers were also affected, in what could be described as the fourth attempt before his impeachment.
