APC stalwart defects to PDP
A former aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2017 Anambra governorship election, Dr. Obinna Uzor has defected to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to contest next year state senatorial poll.
The former APC chieftain berated his former party conduct on grounds of inappropriate apportion of party position to the candidate led to his
defection and promised to join hands with men of like minds to rebuild PDP in Anambra state.
The PDP Anambra south senatorial aspirants express hope that PDP will reclaim its loss grounds to the state ruling party All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA in 2019 general elections.
Dr. Obinna Uzor made this submission at the PDP Anambra state headquarters, assured that the PDP commands the real political structure to defeat the ruling party in Next year general elections.
Also, a frontline PDP member in the state Dr. Alex Obi-Ogbogbolu joined the senatorial race, challenged the party authorities in the state to ensure due process prevails in the coming party primaries.
The duo promised to deliver on the party mandate of affording quality representation at the red chambers of the National Assembly if nominated to fly the party’s flag in the 2019 general elections.
