Wife of the vice president commissions projects in Benue
Wife of the Vice of President of Nigeria Mrs Dolapo Osibanjo has commissioned Mama Abayol Orphanage home as well as the Benue Center for Enterprise and Innovation for skill acquisition.
Wife of the Vice President Mrs Osibanjo, who was received by the governor and his wife at the airport among the retinue of other dignitaries went straight to commission the projects. Governor Samuel Ortom, who led her, said the Orphanage home is to assist orphans shelter and help cushion their challenge just as he also stated that the Center for Enterprise was initiated in 2015 and is aimed at meeting the challenges and aspirations of Benue youth, stating that the programme was supported by the federal government through counterpart funding and partnership with United Nation Development Goals.
The Governor said the centre has all the state of the art technology and will continue to receive government attention and support.
Wife of the Vice President after commissioning the projects where she expressed delight on what she saw on the ground also attended an event organized by Women to mark 49th Edition of BEWIP Prayer convocation, admonishing both women and youth to take authority and stamp out drug-related vices in the society.
