Use skills to end insecurity: NDA officers charged
Ahead of it's scheduled combined Passing Out Parade (POP), billed for October 5, the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has held its Prize Giving & Beating of the Retreat in honour of Graduating Cadets of 66 regular course, 45 short service course for Nigerian Army, Navy and Airforce.
The colourful event held at the NDA Parade Ground, Afaka on Tuesday attracted lots of dignitaries, family and loved ones in his address to the young officers the special guest of honour air vice-marshal Nurudeen Balogun said he is glad that the NDA has started a new course in counter-terrorism and counter-insurgency.
He also urges the soon to be commission officers to use new skills and knowledge acquired to help tackle the enormous security challenge the country is facing.
The event also witnessed the presentation of awards to cadets who distinguished themselves in academic and various sporting activities for male and female categories respectively.
