NANS threatens to join ASUU in Nation-wide strike
The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) have alleged that they have credible intelligence information on plans by the opposition to use thugs to invade the Akwa Ibom state house of assembly to prevent the house from carrying out legislative activities.
This was made known to newsmen today during a press conference at the Arewa House Kaduna. The Senate president, NANS said the association is not satisfied with the way the federal government is handling some national issues.
NANS senate president, Abdulmajeed Oyini while addressing the press said the opposition in Akwa Ibom wants to take over the house of assembly in other to impeach the governor of the state.
While Comrade Isah Abubakar said since the return of democracy the student union government have refused to embark on any unlawful protest but if the federal government refuse to come to an agreement with ASUU they might be forced to do so.
