Insecurity: FG Should Liberalize Arms For Citizens - Lawyer
Following the sharp rise in insecurity recently witnessed across the country, a legal practitioner has called for the Federal Government to liberalize arms possession so that citizens will be able to defend themselves.
The lawyer who decried what he described as laxity on the part of the Government to tackle the issue of insecurity head-on, said the body language of the Muhammadu Buhari-led administration gives credence to the allegation that there is an alleged unholy alliance between the Federal Government and the insurgents.
Speaking further, the lawyer called on Nigerians to task the Federal Government and the National Assembly to constitutionalize the right to bear arms so as to enable citizens protect their fundamental rights to life.
