Nigerian dependence on Oil and failure to diversify the economy will continue to impact negatively on the country's economy.

Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa stated this after signing into to law the 2021 appropriation bill.

He said the state executive will remain focus in developing the state, creating an enabling environment for business to thrive and upgrading of entrepreneurship programs across the state.

On his part, the speaker of the state house of assembly Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori disclosed that the quick passage of the bill was accelerated so as to impact on human capital development of the state.
