Former minister of police affairs under the administration of President Olusegun Obasanjo has lent his voice in support of southwest Governors on the establishment of security outfit Amotekun, saying declaring it illegal by the Attorney General of the federation is unacceptable.

He made the disclosure while speaking with our correspondent Dele Fasan in Warri on the security structure.

Speaking on the declaration of Amotekun as an illegal outfit, the former minister of police affairs said it will help the Nigerian police.

He stressed that the Pan Niger Delta Forum(PANDEF)where he is a stakeholder supports the southwest Governors.

The Ondo state Governor Rotimi Akeredolu who also condemn the declaration promised to meet with other southwest Governors on the next line of action
