The Ekiti state government has allayed fears of herdsmen that allegedly hoisted a flag at Orin Ekiti farm settlement.

The state's Commissioner for information tourism and values orientation Muyiwa Olumilua said Government is on top of the situation.

Olumilua said the state governor, Kayode Fayemi is working assiduously for the improvement of security and well being of residents.

He urged Nigerians to discountenance report of the annexation of parts of Ekiti state.
