Amotekun Commandant Dies in Motorcycle Accident
The Commandant of Western Nigeria Security Network, Otherwise known as Amotekun in Kajola Local Government Area of Oyo State Tajudeen Idowu Salaudeen has been reported dead in a fatal motorcycle accident.
Salaudeen, popularly called Arogunmasa was said to have died along sawmill road in Ilero while trying to escape a pothole he suddenly met on the road.
An eyewitness account has it that the deceased was on his way to Okeho when he received a call that he needed to return in order to attend to an urgent assignment at Ilero.
He was said to have made a U-turn immediately to Ilero but rammed into a pothole during which his motorcycle somersaulted.
He has since been buried according to Islamic rites. Late Salaudeen was described as a fearless and disciplined man whose life was used for activism and eagerness to assist those being oppressed.
The deceased became commandant of Amoteku based on his native intelligence, patriotism and acknowledged bravery shortly after Governor Seyi Makinde Western Nigeria Security Network.
