Activists kick against continued oil exploration in Africa
Environmental activists from various African countries have gathered in Port Harcourt the Rivers state capital to fashion out modalities to end continuous oil exploration in the continent.
The activists who were drawn from different rights group gathered to discuss oil activities in tropical countries across the globe.
Speaking with the Hashtag #FishNotOil, the Chairman of oil watch international Dr. Nimo Bassey explained the essence of the conference.
The keynote speaker and the coordinator from south Durban urged citizens from oil-producing communities in Africa to come together in demand for social justice.
The aim of the group is to increase awareness at the global level and unravel the impact of oil activities and exploration with members across fifteen African countries.
