Veteran Nollywood actor, Adebayo Salami popularly known as Oga Bello has opined that by default, an African woman will always bow for her husband.

Oga Bello via a media chat explained his opinion about gender equality in its perspective from the African culture.

The 64 veteran actor stated that "African women are taught to bow before their husbands while the husbands are supposed to respect the wife."

He said;

“African women are taught to bow for their husband. The husband too must respect the wife. Bow, do things for him, cook for him”
