VICTIMS OF HERDSMEN APPEAL FOR GOVT INTERVENTION.
Victims of herdsmen attack receiving treatment of gun wounds and matchet cuts at the Benue State University Teaching Hospital, Makurdi, are calling on spirited individuals and government to support them in offset their medical bills.
The victims mostly farmers who could barely pay their medical bills which runs into hundreds of thousands, one of them, a mother of four, and her daughter, age fifteen years, both attacked and shot last weekend at Ayilamo in Logo local government area, are currently at the teaching hospital considering depth of the wound which are life threatening.
The husband, Utile Msugh, who escaped by the whiskers, made the call at the hospital, saying he lost his younger brother and one other in the attack, stating that the burden of procuring medicines and managing the health challenge of both his wife and daughter badly injured in the attack, was becoming unbearable.
He decried his wife situation as life threatening as she has been placed on oxygen after been infused with pants of blood, as he has spent the little he had to buy medicines which is still not enough, hence he soliciting help from the public to save his family.
