Kano police command has arrested three kidnappers and rescued a four years old girl.  The state commissioner of police, Ahmed Iliyasu said the girl was kidnapped in Kano and taken to Kaduna for hiding. 

Iliyasu said the kidnappers were demanding for two million Naira for the little girl before luck ran out on them and were apprehended by the police.

He called on the citizenry to be on the lookout against strange people in their community. 

One of the suspects who gave his name as Ibrahim said his job was to communicate with the victim's people to collect the ransom adding that the woman that kidnapped the child is still at large. The woman who received and kept the victim in Angwan Rimi in Kaduna state said she was shocked when she realized the girl was kidnapped in Kano and taken to kaduna.

The police said the suspects will soon be charged to court.
