Three aspirants jostling for the Ondo South Senatorial ticket on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have kicked against the alleged imposition of an aspirant by the party leadership.

 

Speaking on behalf of the aspirants, former Nigeria Ambassador to Togo, Sola Iji, the party leadership must be neutral and be fair to all contestants. The aspirants said any attempt to impose an aspirant on them will lead to an unnecessary crisis in the party. They also called on Governor Rotimi Akeredolu to wade into the matter and ensure they are giving equal treatment.
