Obasanjo Seeks Support for Waste to Energy, Wealth
A former president of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo has called for effective political will and legislation to attract investors and transform the enormous potentials of waste being generated in Ogun state by recycling and sustainable energy for domestic, industrial and agricultural purposes
He gave the admonition in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital when he played host to the management of the Ogun state waste management Authority led by the special adviser on waste management, Ola Oresanya at his presidential library residence in the state capital
He, however, admonished the state government to effectively synergize with development partners in order to tap into the hidden opportunities abound in waste recycling and improve the good environment and economic growth and progress
