The Minister of Police Affairs, Muhammad Dingyadi has promised to work in synergy with the Chinese government to improve security and infrastructure in the country. 

Muhammad Maigari was speaking when the delegation led by the Ambassador of China to Nigeria, Cui Jianchu paid him a courtesy visit in office in Abuja.

He said having observed that Nigeria and China have over the years, maintained a strong and close relationship, efforts will be geared towards the improvement of growing the bilateral trade and strategic cooperation between the two countries.

Earlier in his remarks, Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, Cui Jianchu said, no country can develop without security and infrastructure, hence the Chinese government is ready to help Nigeria in overcoming some of the challenges facing the country including security.

This he said will help attract foreign investors to the country.
