Clergy Seeks Midway between Govt /Church Over Crossover Service
Following the suspension of crowded crossover night services by the Ogun state government, the shepherd of the Treasure House of God, Abeokuta, Adeseye Senfuye is calling for a midway between the church and government, whereby the protocols of COVID-19 are strictly adhered to and the church is allowed to meet as well as pray for the government.
Senfuye made this known in a chat with Galaxy News in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital.
He noted that over the years, it is the policy of the church to obey the government, stressing that the church is also in the business of saving lives.
The clergyman added that the church has it always done will be ready to strictly comply with the COVID-19 safety protocols; with a plea to the government to have a common ground with the church.
